SpiderAI helps organizations answer customers on WhatsApp. This policy explains the data we process, how we protect it, and your choices.
Who is who
Organizations (businesses, schools, government/NGOs) are usually the data controllers for their customer chats. SpiderAI operates as a data processor on their behalf.
What we collect
- Chat content sent via WhatsApp to your SpiderAI bot or business number, including text and basic metadata (timestamps, delivery status, country code).
- Knowledge base content you provide (prices, policies, FAQs, documents) to generate answers.
- Operational logs for reliability, security, and abuse prevention.
How WhatsApp chat data is handled
Messages travel through WhatsApp’s systems and reach our servers over HTTPS/TLS. We don’t claim end‑to‑end encryption between you and SpiderAI; we use industry‑standard encryption in transit and encrypt sensitive data at rest where appropriate.
By default, we retain chat logs for up to 30 days to run the service, improve quality, and investigate abuse. Longer retention for analytics or history is off by default and available only if your organization opts in. You can request deletion sooner.
No selling of user data
We do not sell personal data. We may share limited data with service providers (e.g., infrastructure, messaging, monitoring) under contracts that restrict use to operating SpiderAI.
Security
- Encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and encrypted storage for sensitive data.
- Access controls, audit logging, and least‑privilege for staff.
- Regular security reviews and vulnerability fixes.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, delete, correct, or export your data, and to withdraw consent for optional features like chat history or training.
End customers should contact the organization first (the controller). Organizations can contact us to help fulfill requests.

Children
SpiderAI is for users aged 13+. If a child under 13 uses SpiderAI, contact us and we’ll remove the data.
